Begining with a thorough background in traditional figurative sculpture and taking a philosophical approach to learning a craft, Samantha used the innate, humanist passion within her to spend her formative years in understanding the human body. She understood it may take a lifetime before any noteworthy works may evolve so she wished to spend as much time in her life capturing the heart of this area so that she may one day muster enough technique to convincingly abstract in her later career.
